About Me

Hi. I am Midori. I come from interior design background, where I worked with materials, fabrics, art, and spatial planning to create visual presentations for clients. That experience naturally led me to photography, first focusing on interiors, architecture, and still life.

I grew up in Japan, and as I became more committed to feeding my family good, nutritious meals, I found myself returning to the food I grew up with. Japanese cooking gradually became part of my photography as well.

I later studied Japanese cuisine and became a certified Fermentation Meister
in Japan. Today, my work brings together food, photography, and the everyday
culture surrounding what we eat.
